Constrained recovery applications of Fe-(Mn, Ni)-Si-based shape memory alloys, with controlled properties by nanostructural changes at the level of martensite and austenitic matrix

Nicoleta-Monica LOHAN

University assistant at the Chair of Metals Technology, Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, of the GHEORGHE ASACHI Technical University from Iasi, since 2007. Diploma paper: Obtining a rod type part from high voltage pillars, under the scientific guidance of Prof.dr.ing. Luchian Zaharia. Disertation paper, defended within the master course Advanced Materials and Experimental Analysis Techniques: Study of the variation of some magnetic characteristics of amorphous metallic ribbons from the system Fe 37,5 Ni 32,5-x Cr 5 Co x B 15 Si 10 , for x = 0; 5; 10 si 15 , under the guidance of Prof. dr.ing. Corneliu Munteanu. As an university assistant she must compulsory register, in the domain of Materials Science and Engineering, in septembrie 2007. The topics of the PhD thesis will be subsequently settled.

Within the project she is involved in the following activities (according to section 12.1. Workplan. Objectives and activities, Annex 5) :

In 2007: 1.1 Setting chemical composition and working temperatures; 1.6 Writing the annual self-evaluation report

In 2008: 1.2 Quantitative and qualitative analysis of metallographic structure; 1.3 Determining critical temperatures; 3.2 Quantitative and qualitative analysis of metallographic structure; 3.3 Determining critical temperatures;

In 2009: 2.1 Quantitative and qualitative analysis of metallographic structure; 2.2 Determining critical temperatures; 4.1 Quantitative and qualitative analysis of metallographic structure; 4.2 Determining critical temperatures;

In 2010: 1.1 Determining the constructive shapes of coupling/ fixing elements ; 1.2 Inducing by machining the determined shapes; 1.3 Welding the coupling/ fixing elements
